OH, I just read this one a few days ago! 8D
You did awesome on the mood, but what I like the most of the fluid, dynamic lines and shapes - everything seems to live on this picture, very expressing!
And gotta love your rendition of Holmes! =3

Oh god, I love you. I love you so much. Your art style just takes my breath away. I've been looking at everything in your gallery, even the stuff that I don't know where it comes from. Everything you do is so beautiful. I love the dark steampunk look to everything. And I'm SO GLAD you've done sherlock holmes artwork. It's perfect. Ahhhh fuuuck.

just reminded the sentence from "Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper": - Watson, find also my tweed hat. The one that I almost never use, but with which people think I'm sleeping. XD

You hav an interesting perspective in your art. The darks and lights coexist wonderfuly in it. the effect of this created an erie feeling such as the creature in the background. In other words it sent chills down my spine

I think this is the best cartoon-version of Holmes in human form I've ever seen. Ever. There should definitely be a film version of it... with animated drawings in your style. That's awesome, really **

Impressionnant!

Sherlock:Were in the hound has my hat gone?

 Sorry, couldn't resist, he just makes me think that in this picture. It's a really great picture though, I love all the carvings on the rocks.

Hounds of Baskerville was on of the first Sherlock books I read.

It's one that you don't want to read at night, for it gives you the creeps. :fear: xD

For how the scenery is done, it reminds me of the moments in some cartoons when they will give a kinda horror movie feel, and have it in black and white with blotches of red or black in the background.

aww, Sherlock lost his hat :giggle:

There's something that I really love about your style, the way you mix a more graphic style with illustrations, like here, you have the character cel shaded whereas the background looks more of traditional mediums and shading. And oh, I love the way you draw faces too :)

^_^ No problem! Like I said on, um, one of your other arts (can't remember which now ^^; ), I found "Come Back Potter" to be an especially clever "Daily Deviation", and that was how I saw the recommendation from ^animator. I figured I'd check out your art on a whim, and I discovered THIS treasure trove! :D You have an excellent sence of proportion and placement; I love your art, 100 percent!
